As someone who enjoys cooking, I love adding extra flavor to recipes. Citrus, both juice and zest, is a great addition to many dishes; but how many people simply skip it for lack of wanting to squeeze a lemon? Here's an easy solution: The Professional Lemon Squeezer & Zester by Mixologist World.
With an easy to use lemon squeezer and cold presser for lime, pressing fruit instead of grinding it like some juicers makes it quicker, easier on the hands. and less of a mess. Great when making fresh squeezed lemonade or adding flavor to a salad or fish dish.
I made a few things with my new lemon squeeze & zester set. First we made a Homemade Lemon Basil Vinaigrette you can see the recipe here.
The lemon squeezer was quick and easy to use, getting almost every drop out of that poor lemon!
Then I made a frozen lemonade with my daughter's help.
Frozen Lemonade Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 lemons
- 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 1 big handful of ice
- Magic Bullet or blender device
1. Start with your ice, fill your bullet to the top (or a big handful into a blender)
2. Squeeze in the lemons

3. Add the sugar, then fill with water. (about 2 cups in a blender)
4. Garnish with lemon zest and enjoy!
I really liked both these items, my boyfriend, daughter and myself found the lemon squeezer easy to use. And the zester has 2 sides, one for small cooking zests and one for garnish as seen here. My only problem with this set was that the holes for the lemon/lime juice are on the rounded side, leaving some of the juice in the squeezer unless you turn it upside down. Over all these are both great products for cooking and drink making!
