As someone who often goes night fishing, my boyfriend is always looking for a good headlamp. With the original price of this item being $29.99 we had really high hopes. However, as soon as we received the headlamp the first thing we notice is that it was extremely light-weight. Though this should be a good quality this one was almost too light. The settings are nice, but only one is the white light the others are red, good for emergency not very practical for daily use. This lamp did not come with batteries, easy enough problem to get around however disappointing. We also felt the battery chamber should have a better fastener. It seems as though a good fall onto the pier could pop that open and lose the batteries. Good light for the sale price of $7.99, but would never pay the full price or ever the reduced price for this.
